To surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We achieve our mission by providing the 5 Basics: A one-on-one relationship with a caring adult; A healthy start and a healthy future; A safe place to learn and grow; A marketable skill to use upon graduation, and a chance to give back to peers and community.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.

We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
