GRANITE EDUCATION FOUNDATION INC

  • Mission

Granite Education Foundation exists to reduce learning barriers, so all students have equitable access to educational opportunities, and to enhance the capacity of instructors and administrators--in ways that complement but are beyond the District’s academic-focused objectives.

    About Us

By providing Granite School District students and families with resources to meet basic needs such as hunger, sleep, clothing, and more, we increase their capacity to learn in the classroom. We work directly with all 90 schools in Granite School District to try and meet need where it is. With the largest share of refugees within the District's boundaries, more than 1,300 students experiencing homelessness, and 65% of students experiencing food insecurity, Granite Education Foundation exists to support the neediest and most vulnerable students in Utah.
