About Us

Media Fellowship House was founded in 1944 in friendship between four women of different races who wanted to promote fellowship and understanding by creating a space for a diverse community to come together. Media Fellowship House has continued the work of our founders' mission for nearly 80 years by creating programs, organizing coalitions, and facilitating conversations that promote diversity and understanding. Our efforts focus on fair housing, education, and racial justice advocacy work. Recent events have shown us that there is still much work to be done, and we stand in solidarity with community members and organizations speaking out and taking action against injustice. Media Fellowship House continues to grow just as our community does, but always with the same goal in mind…to celebrate our differences and find common ground.
