About Us
Habitat for Humanity of Nacogdoches is a non-profit Christian homebuilding ministry working in the Nacogdoches area. It is built on the principle that all of God's people deserve a decent place to live and that our community is a better place when that occurs. Habitat for Humanity welcomes the involvement of those who support this principle.
HFH of Nacogdoches works with low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford a house. We partner with families in need and help them build affordable houses for themselves and their families at no interest and no profit. We are not a charity or a "hand out" program, but rather we help families help themselves. By the end of 2010, we built houses with 14 families in need.
