    The Partnership for Poverty Action (PFPA) was established on 17 October 2012 in Kaski, Nepal as a local non-governmental organization with the aim to alleviate poverty among the poor people in the rural communities of Nepal. It was registered with the Government of Nepal at the Kaski District Administrative Office on 9 January 2014 – Registration# 3051 and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council on 20 January 2014 – Affiliation# 38560
