About Us
Kings Against Violence Initiative (KAVI) is a hospital, school, and community-based organization that provide young people with productive and safe alternatives to engaging in interpersonal violence by empowering youth and cultivating their untapped potential.
KAVI is based at Kings County Hospital Center and is fiscally sponsored by the not-for-profit organization Emergency Medical Physicians of Brooklyn Foundation Incorporated. EMPB provides support for research and education in the field of emergency medicine.
