Friends of Deer Hollow Farm

  • About Us

Friends of Deer Hollow Farm is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1994 to help preserve Deer Hollow Farm, a working homestead farm and environmental education center in Silicon Valley.

The mission of FODHF is to:

    1.  Preserve Deer Hollow Farm, a historical area and working farm; and

    2.  Support the Farm’s environmental education program for the benefit of schools and the community.

FODHF supports the hands-on educational programs at Deer Hollow through donations of both funds and volunteer time. Deer Hollow Farm is located at Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. It was homesteaded in 1860 by the Grant brothers and is surrounded by open space. Environmental programs encompass the farm and its animals, local flora and fauna, and Native Americans of the area.
