    About Us

Sharing Connections provides furniture and household items to low income individuals and families, helping them transform bare rooms into a home. Families and individuals come to Sharing Connections after facing devastating challenges including domestic violence, fires, floods, health issues, job loss, poverty and other difficult situations. Sharing Connections brings together community members by enabling families and businesses to share their gently used furniture and household items with families needing assistance. This is a unique opportunity for the community to directly make an impact by passing on something they no longer need to make a difference in the life of a family.

Our warehouse is where we build a connection between our donors, volunteers, and clients. Donors contribute their furniture and household items Monday through Saturday, and client families come in Monday through Friday to select items that have been ordered for them by referring agencies.

The office at Sharing Connections is the communication hub where clerical and managerial support is provided for our programs and operations.

Volunteers are needed in the warehouse and in the office between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Volunteer shifts are available 9am-Noon and Noon until 3pm. Volunteers are also needed in the warehouse on Saturdays from 9am-Noon.
