As a Baptist church and community organization based in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood of the District of Columbia, Mount Carmel is and is a place to be empowered, inspired, and educated. For nearly 140 years, it remains committed to carrying out a balanced ministry through fellowship, worship, service, evangelism and support. It is led by Reverend Dr. Joseph N. Evans.
