  • Mission

    JAMA (Japan America Media Association) is a Non-Profit Organization under California Corporate Law (501 (c) (3)) located Irvine, CA. It’s founded for the purpose of supporting any organization and/or personnel involved in the industry of Media, such as Journalists for news paper, magazine, Television and Radio news outlet, Photographer, website creator and designer, film maker, visual creator, writer and director, producer, videographer, sound engineer, to expand their field and connection, as well as enhance relationship in between Japanese and American by creating series of cultural and journalistic exchange programs.

    About Us

    We are conducting various cultural events, fund raising event and projects, student exchange and support for internship, to contribute our society.

    We have been conducting JFFLA(Japan Film Festival Los Angeles) since 2003 (It was called "Chanoma Film Festival back then) to create many opportunities for Japanese and American Film makers as well as many of those who wants to see more Japanese film in the US to exchange their view of Japanese culture, and cultivate friendship and mutual understanding through films.
