JOHANNES SCHWALM HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION INC
Mission
To gather, collect, and otherwise assemble information relating to the history and genealogy of JOHANNES SCHWALM and his descendants.
About Us
A nonprofit organization of volunteer historians, genealogists and educators dedicated to researching those German auxiliary troops (generically called Hessians) who remained in America after the Revolutionary War, became loyal citizens, made cultural contributions and were the progenitors of any thousands of Americans living today. This includes publishing an annual historical journal on the Hessians and their descendants, providing speakers to educate the public on subjects from the American Revolution to the current Global War on Terrorism and supporting genealogy research.
