West Side Collaborative Middle School

West Side Collaborative Middle School cultivates students’ passions and empowers students to articulate who they are as learners. Teachers and administrators have created an environment where students receive rigorous personalized instruction and encouragement to become capable agents of change in their own lives and communities.

WSC’s program design, which emphasizes the value of teacher leaders and collaboration has been in place with many of the same educators for nineteen years.

The heart of West Side Collaborative is it’s creative, intelligent and energetic staff. The teachers are reflective educators, who continually rethink practices to keep children’s development central. Our staff has participated in many professional development opportunities in technology, math, literacy, the sciences and the arts. Together they have created a middle school experience that will challenge students to develop their innate curiosity and channel the energy of youth into the excitement of discovery!
