About Us

The Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival is a unique event held in New York City, bringing together various Asian Pacific American organizations and individuals to celebrate Asians in America. The Festival provides a stage for creative expression, a venue for community organizations to share their services, and exposure to thousands of individuals in one day.

The festival is held by the Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA), a 501c(3) non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers working together to build a sense of community among the tri-state area's Asian Pacific Americans. Every year, the Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival comes full with live music and dance, martial arts, film screenings, children's activities, arts and crafts and over a hundred participating organizations. This Festival is the largest Pan-Asian outdoor event on the East Coast.
