Konojel is a grassroots organization that has been growing steadily since 2011, it is directed by foreigners, run by locals, and our partnerships span across the globe. We are a group of individuals working to improve conditions and standards of living in our community because we are willing and able to dedicate the time, energy, and resources necessary to make a sustained and positive impact. We approach our work and the people who are impacted by our work with the utmost respect, humility, and empathy.
Konojel is a registered non-profit organization based in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala. Our mission is to reduce chronic malnutrition and endemic poverty in the community we work in by providing programs through which at-risk individuals can raise their standard of living.
