What is kids.now?
kids.now is a fun, interactive, in-school, after-school leadership program delivered at no cost to groups of 10 self-selected grade seven and eight students. It is open to all kids, regardless of gender, race, religion or socioeconomic status, or of physical, developmental or communication challenges.
Grade seven to eight students are at risk for making mistakes that will jeopardize their future. They face negative peer pressure, lack of in-home support and diminished in-school and extracurricular activities due to reduced funding. At the same time, they are at a turning point when they can make positive choices that will empower them to take a leadership role in their own lives and the lives of others.
