The New Florida Majority

The New Florida Majority (NewFM) is a social justice organization whose mission is to build grassroots power to eliminate the structural barriers to social and economic opportunities for poor and disenfranchised communities. NewFM combines community organizing, leadership development, strategic alliance building, and electoral organizing to pursue its mission at the local and state levels. Additionally, NewFM builds alliances between African American and new immigrant communities in Florida with the goal to build and gain power to win good jobs, housing, and opportunity for our community and turnout our members to vote in large numbers.
