Alley Cat Rescue is dedicated to the well-being and welfare of ALL cats: domestic, stray, abandoned,and feral.

ACR works locally & nationally. We also support feral cat groups in South Africa. We run spay clinics to TNR feral cats in Virginia and Los Angeles, California.

ACR works nationally through our Cat Action Teams to help others help cats nationwide.

ACR is one of the world's pioneers in new, innovative ways to control feral cat colonies, using nonlethal, humane methods of control (TNR).

ACRs information on all aspects of Trap-Neuter-Return, including rabies control, and facts & myths on cats and wildlife predation, are well-known worldwide, and help cats globally.

Cats have been scapegoated and ACR is concerned about this as this negativity encourages cruelty towards cats. It also deflects attention away from the real reason for wildlife depletion: the over-development and misuse of land.
