Repertory Company
High School for Theatre Arts offers a college preparatory academic program and
New York City's only comprehensive three-part theatre arts sequence, where
students hone their skills in music, dance, and acting. Students completing our
program will graduate with an Advanced Regents diploma with Arts Endorsement in
Theatre. Our location, in the heart of Times Square, supports our school's
focus. Our small size offers students an intimate environment in which to
explore all aspects of theatre from production to performance. Students can
participate in the many student productions, including comedy or classical
drama, student-written works, and a school-wide musical production each year.
Our students maintain high academic standards and possess the willingness to
explore all the imagination and creativity of theatre arts.
