Shield Bearer Counseling Center

Everyone deserves mental health services. Because mental health affects all aspects of our lives and the enormous ripple effects of our mental health throughout each individual's circle of influence across a community, Shield Bearer strives to never turn anyone away. We have multiple locations throughout Houston and our licensed counselors heal marriages, veterans, human trafficking survivors, abuse and crime victims, families who are in crisis, victims of natural disasters, first-responders, and those suffering from depression, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, grief, PTSD, and so much more. We want everyone who needs mental health services to rebuild their broken relationships, change their trajectory in life, heal from brokenness, or need light during a dark time in their life to find healing and help at Shield Bearer.

We work with agencies, safe houses, government agencies, shelters, families, half-way houses, individuals, churches, and many other organizations. We are a 501c3 and take most major insurances but always work with those who do not have insurance or are having a difficult time financially.

We also provide community programs, activities, and preventative trainings. We deliver talks and programs concerning marriage, suicide, domestic violence, dating violence, mother & daughter relationships, strong fathers, father & son relationships, and many many opportunities of support groups.
