    To provide for the needs of senior citizens, 60 and over, and of the disabled, to assist them in maintaining a meaningful, dignified, compassionate, and quality lifestyle both on a short term and long term basis within the communities of Norridge, Harwood Heights, and Unincorporated Norwood Park Township.

    About Us

    Seniors Assistance Center: Helping seniors maintain their independence.

    The Seniors Assistance Center provides the following assistance:

    Home Delivered Meals are designed to help home- bound seniors in our service area. Our volunteer drivers deliver a hot meal daily Monday through Friday.

    Individual Case Management is available to help seniors access services and programs and to provide a comprehensive needs assessment with referrals. Our Case Manager will meet with seniors and their families about their concerns and living situations and liaison with other agencies.

    Friendly visitors meet with seniors in their homes to provide help and companionship. Telephone reassurance callers make well-being calls Monday through Friday.

    Information and Assistance is available to seniors or their families for services, including Medicare Assistance.

    Seniors Assistance Center will assist clients with applications for Circuit Breaker, LIHEAP, SNAP and Medicare Part D.

    We offer seminars throughout the year on various topics including health, safety, and financial issues.
