ROBIN FOUNDATION INC

  • Mission

The Robin Foundation is dedicated to changing and saving lives at risk of overdose by supplying Narcan and delivering comprehensive training to individuals, families, and organizations on its proper administration. Our mission is to empower communities with the tools and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to overdoses effectively, ultimately working towards reducing the impact of substance abuse and saving lives.

    About Us

The Robin Foundation was co-founded by Chris Cavallo and his daughter, Cristina, in memory of Robin and Stefanie Cavallo, mother and daughter.

Robin was an activist and well-known throughout the Recovery community in South Florida. Robin, who was in active recovery for 17 years, was always willing to help others in need who were dealing with the disease of addiction. Robin

After surgery, she was prescribed pain medicine, which she became addicted to, and soon after, she died from an overdose. Chris and Robin’s daughter Stefanie, who was Cristina’s twin sister, never fully recovered from her mother’s passing, was

in and out of recovery for many years until she died from an overdose by way of fentanyl poisoning.

The Cavallo family is committed to spreading a message of hope, recovery, and preventing other families from the same senseless tragedies by distributing Narcan as well as providing training to as many individuals, families, and organizations as possible in South Florida about the opioid epidemic, as well as how to administer Narcan in case of an overdose. Volunteers are the centerpiece of everything that the Robin Foundation does on a daily basis through community outreach, through their Narcan distribution program, online and in-person training, as well as being very active with community events

The Robin Foundation is also committed to one day having a facility for women and children who suffer from substance abuse disorder and mental health challenges.
