Arts Ed Matters

Arts Ed Matters is committed to advocating for a strong presence of the arts in public education. We believe that early and sustainable exposure to visual and performing arts curriculum fosters a more complete process of learning, helps to build healthy and vibrant communities, and prepares students to enter an ever-changing global landscape. In the face of sweeping budget cuts, the arts have become the lowest priority. To address this issue, we will advocate for the arts through fostering community dialogue, instilling a sense of urgency, reaching out to local politicians, and empowering parents as activists.
