Our mission is to cultivate a community of women education leaders who are equipped, connected, and supported to rise into and sustain in top roles, and to drive meaningful, lasting change for students, schools, and systems.

WLE’s network spans all 50 states, uniting over 500 bipartisan district and state superintendents, charter school leaders, and c-suite executives. Together, they lead with vision and courage, serving more than 20 million students - almost 1 in 2 public school students nationwide.
We support our member community through intentional development pathways, strategic sponsorship, and high-impact partnerships that expand what’s possible for women, and for the future of education. We provide the development, research, and relationships to help women lead with impact and deliver results for schools, communities, and the future of education.
