    The mission of True Theatre is to bring together a wide variety of people to share stories in an effort to create Community, encourage discussion, and remind everyone that ALL of us have stories to tell with unique insights and broad appeal.

    About Us

    True Theatre has been around since 2010. In 89seasons, True Theatre has produced 46 evenings of storytelling, featuring over 200 stories by nearly-that-many unique voices. Time and again, we have witnessed how the simple sharing of a story breaks down walls and builds bridges between people. We not only produce the storytelling events, we also curate the stories and coach the tellers. Our stage has featured storytellers from 12 to 92, covering a generous spread of diverse cultures, backgrounds, races, identities, and preferences. We are a small organization the has touched hundreds of lives and has big dreams!
