    Union on Development of Civil Society “Borjghalo” is a Non-Entrepreneurial (Non-Commercial) Legal Entity, which was founded in 2 May of 2006 year by young lawyers under the law of Georgia.”Borjghalo” supports forming and developing of civil society, growing process of involving citizens into the decision making and solving actual problems of the country. The main goals of “Borjghalo” are following:

    1. Enhancing cognitive level of the young people in the process of conflict regulation and assisting their involvement in the mentioned processes;
    2. Enhancing lawful and cultural consciousness of the citizens;
    3. Organizing sport, scientific, art, cultural, intellectual and entertainment measures;
    4. Developing close relationship with the valid student and young organizations, educational-scientific centers etc.

    During last three years in the region of Adjara “borjghalo” implemented 8 projects by support of various funds. One of the main direction of organization’s activity is youth. In July of 2011 year fund Open Society Georgia funded project of “Borjghalo”: “Informational Centre of Volunteers”. Within this project more then 100 person from 16-26 year was trained on volunteering and has founded volunteering club “Batusi”, which is structural unit of organization and actively works with youth. “Borjghalo” signed memorandum of co-operation with different nongovernmental and governmental organizations and participants of volunteers school are working there. We have created web-site www.volunteering.ge , which represents the only dynamically renewable portal in Georgia created on volunteering.

    Chairman of the organization is David Bagrationi.
