American Red Cross Heart of America Blood Services Region

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergenices. As a steward of half the nation's blood supply, the top priority of the American Red Cross is assuring its safety and availability for vulnerable patients whenever and wherever its needed.
