    The Capital Youth Empowerment Program, Inc. (CYEP) is a non-profit with the mission to provide innovative, high quality, and cost effective programs that address the fatherless home, teen pregnancy, and family dysfunction. Established in 2008, CYEP strengthens the Northern Virginia community by addressing family dysfunction through education and family reunification.

    About Us

    Fathers in Touch focuses on enhancing a father’s emotional and financial involvement in the lives of their children. Additionally, FIT encourages responsible fatherhood, supports the role of the fathers to ensure the well-being of their children, and increase family functioning. FIT is a 12 week fatherhood (parenting) program that includes supervised monthly activities and coaching/mentoring for the fathers.

    The teen pregnancy prevention program, Project Success, is tailored for middle and high school-aged males AIDS/HIV, STD, and teen pregnancy prevention education.

    Becoming a Responsible Teen (BART) is a group-level, education and behavior skills training intervention designed to reduce risky sexual behaviors and improve safer sex skills among adolescents. The 8 intervention sessions, delivered to groups of 5-15 youth, provide information on HIV and STD’s and related risk behaviors and the importance of abstinence and risk reduction.
