About Us
"The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies."
Our seven Fundamental Principles are: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
The American Red Cross provides disaster relief, community education programs, community service programs, youth services, and blood services in a variety of different ways to those in need.
