    Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers (WRV) is a community-based environmental organization that is dedicated to preserving the biological diversity and scenic tranquility of the 1,426 acre Wissahickon Valley section of Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The primary goal of WRV’s ecological restoration program is to promote the sustainable use of the Valley and improve the long-term ecological health of this exceptional natural resource while educating members of the community on responsible environmental stewardship through experiential learning.
