    The Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center was founded in 1990 by Myrtle Faye Rumph in honor of her son, killed in a drive-by shooting. We provide tuition-free afterschool and summer programs for more than 400 students in grades 3-12 in the South Los Angeles area.
