    The Mission of Fresno Freedom School is to take youth to a higher level in Fresno through mobilizing, education, motivating, energizing and organizing with and for our community. Our organization has a strong committment to land based learning with a curriculum that centers gardening, healthy eating and active citizenship.

    About Us

    Fresno Freedom School is a non profit organization focused on youth in our community and providing them with a strong practical education that focuses on land, agriculture and healthy living for people and for the planet. We currently operate a produce distribution operation called the Fresno Farm Box where our youth also volunteer. All of our produce is grown by local Black and Latinx Farmers in and around the Fresno area and provided to local residents and their families. We are in need of volunteers to help pack and distribute boxes on separate days (Friday early evenings from 6-7 p.m. and Saturday early mornings from 7:30-10 a.m.)
