International Leadership of Texas

Guided by the Marine Corps values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, our mission is to instill leadership, character, and citizenship in young men and women. We believe in servant leadership—developing leaders who serve others first, uphold integrity, and take initiative to improve their communities.

Every cadet learns to live by the 11 Marine Corps Leadership Principles and 14 Leadership Traits, applying them both inside and outside the classroom. From leading platoons to organizing community events, our cadets are challenged daily to grow into confident, respectful, and capable leaders.

Who We Serve

We serve students from diverse backgrounds across North Fort Worth, Keller, and Saginaw, united by a shared commitment to personal excellence and community service. Our cadets are athletes, scholars, and future leaders—each striving to make a positive impact on their school, their community, and ultimately, their nation.

Many of our cadets come to the program seeking structure and mentorship. Through our emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and resilience, we provide a safe and supportive environment where they can build confidence, earn responsibility, and develop a clear sense of purpose.

Community Impact

Our battalion actively supports veteran organizations, city events, and nonprofit initiatives throughout the DFW area. Cadets routinely volunteer thousands of service hours each semester through:

• Color guard and drill performances at civic and professional events
• Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies
• Toys for Tots drives, 5K runs, and local outreach programs
• Partnerships with the Air Power Foundation, Texas Rangers, Rotary Clubs, and Marine Corps League, Veterans Foreign War, Honoring our Wounded Military and other Military Veteran Groups

These experiences help cadets see that leadership begins with service—and that community engagement is the foundation of patriotism.

Excellence in Action

From the Eagle Claw Drill Meet to the Eagle Warrior Raider Challenge, our program competes at state and national levels in drill, marksmanship, raider athletics, and orienteering. These achievements not only demonstrate our cadets’ skills and determination but also reflect their ability to represent Fort Worth and ILTexas with pride and professionalism.

Our goal is not simply to prepare cadets for military service—it’s to prepare them for life: college, careers, and community leadership. Whether they pursue the armed forces, higher education, or the workforce, they leave the program with the confidence and discipline to lead wherever they go.
