The Split Second Foundation is committed to breaking physical, societal, and research barriers for people living with disabilities. We strive to create programs that will tear down these barriers and improve lives.

Split Second Fitness is the first facility in Louisiana dedicated to people living with paralysis, stroke or amputation. We empower individuals who live with a disabling condition to transform their hope into action. We provide a safe environment for research-based, individualized exercise programs that are proven to be highly effective for improving health, function and quality of life. 

Split Second Fitness members will be assessed by our experienced staff in order to evaluate the client’s strengths, weaknesses, and deficits. Following the assessment, the client will receive an individualized regimen using exercises and treatments developed through activity-based therapy programs.
