    Be A Mentor enables youth to develop positive relationships with caring adults who empower them to reach their full potential through mentorship.

    About Us

    Be a Mentor (BAM) was founded in 2004 as an initiative of the Charleston Leadership Foundation. Be A Mentor's initial role was to recruit and refer individuals who were interested in mentoring to organizations throughout the Lowcountry. BAM has expanded from providing referrals to offering five signature school-based mentoring programs, that serve over 300 youth annually.
