About Us

The New Future Foundation was founded in 1969 by Miss Delois Blakely, a nun of ten years who left the convent so she could relate more directly to the problems of less fortunate children.

Today, New Future Foundation is an NGO, Private Volunteer Organization/Non Government Organization with consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.

The foundations activities are still largely related to exposing youth and young professionals to international affairs and entrepreneurship. The current activities of New Future Foundation revolve around the innovation of its young leadership who are officers and members of the board. The young professionals work with the United Nations, international agencies and the private sector to initiate domestic and international projects and programs that increase the quality of health, access to education, and sustainable business and economic development.
