    We are a local nonprofit organization founded in 2015. Our mission is to support TBI survivors and promote helmet safety in youth sports. Our annual fundraiser, the Tony's Turkey Trot for Brain Injury in Atlantic Beach Thanksgiving morning is in need of 100 volunteers! We hold a 5k at 8am and 1 mile fun run/walk at 9:30am. Race Packet Pick up will be held at One Ocean Resort and Spa this year on November 26 and 27th from 10am-7pm and we can also use helpers during this time! Lunch and Dinner Provided on November 26 & November 27th.

    About Us

    The Tony Meduri TBI Fund Inc. was founded January 2015 in honor of retired police officer, Tony Meduri who was hit from behind by an uninsured, drugged driver and suffered a TBI and was no longer able to lead a normal life and needed 24/7 care. Tony recently passed on. We have grown every year since our first event, expecting 3000 this year and we will continue in his honor to help others suffering from TBI. This is a fun, family friendly event with a 5k and 1 mile fun run and pie eating contest. We need lots of help on the race course! We also support military and police, and TBI survivors are FREE to participate in the 5k GIVE BACK and GIVE THANKS!!!!
