About Polaris: Rhode Island's MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership) is now a business unit of the URI Research Foundation. Since 1996 we've served over 750 manufacturers. We're developing new growth services and offering our existing continuous improvement program.
Polaris MEP is a statewide not-for-profit organization that provides competitive manufacturing business improvement programs to the state's manufacturing community. The center is affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Program (NIST MEP).
