Odyssey School of Denver

  • About Us

Founded in 1998, Odyssey School of Denver is a public, K-8 school chartered by the Denver Public Schools district. Located in the Park Hill community of Denver, our 230 students come from all over Denver. We prioritize annual enrollment for new students to ensure that at least 33 percent qualify for the federal free-or-reduced-lunch program. There are 26 students per class and most students return to Odyssey every year; we have a re-enrollment rate above 90 percent.

Odyssey School of Denver is a model Expeditionary Learning school, engaging students in project-based learning units, or expeditions, that support in-depth study and comprehension across all disciplines: reading, writing, mathematics, humanities, and science, as well as the development of core “Habits of a Learner” that transform our students into active stewards of their own learning.
