    OUR MISSION To cultivate a positive vision of Modesto by empowering individuals to learn, experiment, create, and share their talents, goals, stories, and struggles in a safe and accessible space.

    About Us

    The Shire will be an all-ages community space located in downtown Modesto that is comprised of a live performance and workshop space, art gallery, and café. We will provide members of our community the opportunity to engage in a wide range of experiences including concerts, art exhibitions, film screenings, food and drink, classes, meet-up groups, and other community gatherings designed to encourage creative interaction.
