About Us

The Boston Workers Circle Center for Jewish Culture and Social Justice (BWC) is a progressive Jewish community and cultural center built on a grassroots organizing model. We are a voice for progressive Jewish values and social change. And we are an arts and education center, uniquely weaving together politics, Jewish identity and creativity.

BWC is also a multi-generational Jewish community for adults and families seeking an alternative to conventional synagogue life. We offer a Jewish cultural Sunday school, secular holiday observances, adult education, and Yiddish language programming. With an inspiring history rooted in the Jewish left and the Jewish labor movement, Workmen's Circle links us to a cultural heritage and a history that we are proud to carry on today.
