Circus World Museum

  • Mission

To collect, preserve, and interpret circus history.

    About Us

Located on the original winter quarters of the Ringling Bros. Circus, Circus World Museum presents circus performances and various circus demonstrations to its vistors, May-September. The museum's exhibits (opened year-round to visitors) provide insights to the history of the circus, Wild West Shows, the Ringling Bros., and the styles and developments of circus wagons. The museum also does extensive repair and restoration work on antique circus wagons in its C.P.Fox Restoration Center. In addition to the largest circus wagon collection, The Robert L. Parkison Library and Research Center has the largest circus archive in the world that includes collections of circus posters, photgraphs, historical records, and other circus treasures.
