    The Utah Chapter of the Sierra Club's mission is to be the leading organization that enlists and empowers Utahns to take action to preserve, protect and enjoy their environment.

    About Us

    Be a part of America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. Founded in 1892 by John Muir, the Sierra Club's members and supporters are more than 3,000,000 of your friends and neighbors. Elected volunteer leaders, working with staff, make policy from the local to the national level. The Utah Chapter has 5,500 members. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet.
