  • Mission

Autism Guide Support equips parents and caregivers of autistic children with practical, family-centred support and connects them with professionals and community partners, helping families find meaningful ways to support each child in everyday life.

    About Us

Autism Guide Support is a family-centred Ontario provincial nonprofit corporation based in Mississauga. We believe parents and caregivers are essential guides in their autistic child’s everyday life, and that the wider community can strengthen the support around each family.

Our work is practical and rooted in lived experience. We are preparing an initial campaign of 100 free sensory kits for families in Mississauga and Peel Region, while developing the Everyday Guide Lab, a 12-week pilot for small groups of families. The Lab will help caregivers explore everyday challenges and consider meaningful, family-led next steps.

We’re building a volunteer community to help make this work possible. Depending on their interests and experience, volunteers may support family outreach, sensory-kit activities, resource development, community partnerships, events, or program operations.

We value dignity, inclusion, lived experience, and collaboration. Our support complements—but does not replace—professional or clinical services.
