Mission
First, to provide love, security and comfort to children who are traumatized, ill or otherwise in need with handmade blankets. Second, to provide a volunteer service opportunity for those wishing to help children in need.
About Us
Volunteers create handmade blankets that are crafted by knitting, crocheting, quilting and using fleece fabric for no sew blankets. Blankets must be handmade with child friendly colors and designs, and be machine washable and dryable.
Children volunteer in the "Kids Helping Kids" program to create decorated 8 1/2" muslin squares. School age children participate by coloring the squares with permanent fabric markers creating pictures, designs and get well and feel good wishes. No sew fleece blankets are also popular for the "Kids Helping Kids" program.
