About Us
A Mother's Hand was derived from the need to break the chain of poverty and multiple pregnancies amongst our young under educated, impoverished, misguided and abused girls. By giving them the LOVE, TRUST, EDUCATION, RESPECT, AND LIFE SKILLS one gets from their mother's hand, they'll become the self-confident, educated decision making women of tomorrow.
We can empower up to five mothers and ten children for two years in our spacious five unit home which features private bedrooms, an indoor/outdoor playground, and a computer lab and office for counselors and social workers.
We serve pregnant and non-pregnant young women in a structured living environment with an emphasis on developing independent living skills, social skills and self-sufficiency.
