  • Mission

The Friendship Center fosters hope and dignity on Chicago’s northwest side through access to food and vital resources.

    About Us

Since 1969, The Friendship Center has operated as a food pantry on Chicago's northwest side. In addition to providing fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy, and other groceries four days a week to our neighbors facing hunger, we offer a weekly hot meal service, homebound delivery, and a monthly pet food pantry. Located on Lawrence Avenue at Washtenaw Avenue, each year The Friendship Center supports over 24,000 food-insecure residents of Albany Park, Lincoln Square, North Park, Ravenswood, Lincolnwood, and West Ridge.
