About Us
We believe that every person deserves a chance to thrive, contribute to society and realize belonging. Our approach is simple but powerful. Inclusion is the norm.
- At Anixter Center we offer innovative therapies, residential services, day programs and literacy programs for people with disabilities.
- We offer youth and adult counseling services and residential and community services for people with mental health concerns,. We also offer Juvenile Justice Services.
- Through Chicago Hearing Society (CHS) we offer audiology services, Community Outreach and Advocacy Education and ASL Traning and Interpreter Services for people who are Deaf, DeafBlind or Hard of Hearing.
What makes us truly unique are the array of services we offer plus our ability to help people at every stage of life—children, teens, young adults and older adults.
Our clients span the age spectrum, from birth to 90+, and we are inclusive of all ethnic backgrounds. While we serve people of all income levels, the vast majority of our clients have incomes significantly below the poverty level.
