    To eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the Metro Jackson area.

    We are a Christian organization that builds decent, affordable homes for families living in substandard housing. Habitat is a hand up - not a hand out. Families purchase the homes at no profit to Habitat with no interest loans. Habitat uses volunteer labor and donated materials when possible to keep the prices of the homes low. Families provide "sweat equity" by working on theirs and others homes.
