    Hestia Hellas is an NGO working to serve refugees and locals, based in the heart of Athens. We work with families to build resiliency, strengthen healthy coping mechanisms, and support school readiness.

    About Us

    We do this through the following: Psychological counselling for children, adolescents and adults; Child friendly spaces: social and emotional skill development, self-regulation techniques, safe learning environments; Family support groups and parenting workshops: positive parenting, nutrition, stress relief, early childhood development, and skill building; Creative group therapies including, art, music, drama and dance therapies; and Mind-body therapies including yoga, martial arts, mindfulness, sports, physiotherapy and reflexology.

    We have been operational for two years and in this time refined our focus and working model. We deliver our services through a combination of local staff, long and short term volunteers.
