Talbot County 4-H Youth Development

About Us

University of Maryland Extension Talbot County provides services to residents who are looking for educational programs in many topics that relate to agriculture, the Chesapeake Bay, youth programs, gardening, nutrition, health, the environment and more.

Our mission is to educate residents and help them learn to apply practical, research-based knowledge to issues facing individuals, families, communities, the state, and the world. County Extension offices are located in each of Maryland's 23 counties and Baltimore City.

All youth ages 5-18 are welcome to participate in 4-H programs. Contact us for information about joining 4-H! We can be reached at 410-822-1244. Volunteers are always welcome! Let us know your interests, and we'll help you get to work mentoring young people as they learn new project information and develop skills for success in life.

University of Maryland Extension programs are open to all persons and will not discriminate against anyone because of race, age, sex, color, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, religion, ancestry, or national origin, marital status, genetic information, or political affiliation, or gender identity and expression. If you need special assistance to participate in Extension programs please contact our office prior to the program.
